IMPORTANT.
Please note that the event is not a competitive race. Despite the facility of timing, the Milan – San Remo Amatori cyclosportive remains a cicloturistica and an amateur cycling event.
Art. 1 – REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
The possession of a valid membership card issued by your nation and recognized by UCI is an obligatory requisite.
The MILAN – SAN REMO AMATORI is open to
- all foreign cyclists in compliance with the 2024 license of the Cycling Federation of their own country, as recognized by the UCI.
- all italian and foreign cyclists who sign up for a FCI day licence and forward a sport medical certificate and the ethic declaration available on the official website of the event.
Cyclists included in the Master Gold category (see the FCI list) will not be admitted to the event; the same is true for professionals and those in the elite category (men and women). Those under 23 are only admitted for promotional purposes and will not be allowed into the table of final times, nor will they be able to receive a certificate of participation.
Art. 2 – REGISTRATION
Registration for the event will be completed via the official website, by arranging the participation fee with Paypal, credit card or bank transfer. Other forms of registration are not permitted for organisational reasons.
Art. 3 – DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION
The deadline for registration is 31 May.
Direct registration is open in Milan the day before the race.

An amount equal to 5% of the order will be charged for the administrative management of online registrations.
Art. 5 – SERVICES INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FEE
The cost of registration includes:
- souvenir T-shirt (limited to those registered by 20 April),
- entry number,
- supplies,
- free gifts,
- recovery in case of abandonment,
- shower,
- pasta party
Art. 6 – AGE LIMITS
The event is open to cyclists of both sexes from 18 to 70, in effect the day before the race, in compliance with membership for the current year.
Art. 7 – REGULATIONS
By signing the registration form, you state that:
- you have read and approved the regulations
- you are in good physical condition, and are in possession of a membership card verifying fitness for racing competition that has been issued following a medical examination for competitive sports activities
- or that you are in possession of a competitive sport doctor’s certificate in the case of signing up for a daily membership card
Art. 8 – CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION
Registration for the event is meant to be strictly personal.
The registration fee will not be reimbursed in any circumstances, whether it is used or not.
In case it is impossible for you to participate in the race, only until 15 April, and at the discretion of the organization, a voucher can be issued that is valid for a discount of 50% on the cost of the next edition of the event.

If anyone who has registered is caught putting their registration on sale on any website other than the official one, any e-commerce website, or online classified ad site, or secondary ticketing site etc., they will be immediately disqualified by the organization and their registration will in no circumstances be refunded. The registered individual will not be able to be substituted by another, and no discount voucher will be issued for the next edition of the event.
Art. 9 – CLASSIFICATION
At the end of the event a classification of rankings will not be compiled.
In the days following the event it will be possible to see the table of final times on the website, and to find out about your own timing over the route and receive a certificate of participation.
Art. 10 – VERIFICATION
Verification of the license, consignment of numbers and materials described above will take place on

The failure to produce the necessary membership card at the time of registration, or the failure to present the competitive sport medical card required for the registration for a daily card will result in automatic exclusion from the event.

- Grid 1: holders of GOLD registration
- Grids 2: organized groups arranged with the organization
- Grid 3 and successive grids: on the basis of the race bib assigned

Art. 13 – ELECTRONIC CONTROLS
An electronic inspection of the start will be carried out.
The participants who are not present for the checking of the start will be automatically excluded from the table of final times. There will also be electronic checks carried out on the ascents of the Turchino, the Cipressa and the Poggio di Sanremo.
The organisation reserves the right to carry out electronic or visual controls throughout the route. The location of these check-points will not be indicated on the map of the route, nor will they be indicated beforehand to the participants.
Art. 14 – TIMING: REGULATION CHIP
There will be an electronic control from the start to the finish of the race. Participants who do not take part in the control of the Start will be automatically excluded from the rankings.
Electronic controls are provided on the climbs of the course.
Art. 15 – HELMET
The use of an approved rigid helmet is obligatory and it must be worn even in the ascent: anyone discovered to be without a helmet will be automatically excluded from the table of final times and will not be able to receive the certificate of participation.
Art. 16 – ACCOMPANYING VEHICLES
According to the regulations in force, accompanying vehicles are not allowed, with the exception of those belonging to the organization or the recovery vehicles.
Art. 17 – ROAD TRAFFIC
All the roads on the route of the event are OPEN to traffic.
It is vital that you have the utmost respect for and absolute observance of the Highway Code.
Art. 18 – RECOVERY VAN
A paid mechanical assistance and a van will be provided for the recovery of participants who abandon the event, along with their bicycles.
Art. 19 – ARRIVAL
The arrival is planned at
San Remo
at Corso Salvo d’Acquisto
Shower services and the Pasta Party will be set up at Villa Ormond.
Art. 20 – TIME LIMIT
Time limit is scheduled for 12 hours from the start.
The pasta party service will end at 19:30.
Art. 21 – ORDER OF PARTICIPATION
After crossing the finish line, all participants must go the the check-point to return their chip.
The results of the times of individual participants will be published, in alphabetical order, on the www.milano-sanremo.org website, where it will also be possible to print the certificate of participation.
Art. 22 – COMPLAINTS
Complaints must be directed to the race jury under the terms of the regulations and accompanied by the fee stated by the regulations. Collective reports or complaints that have been signed by more than one person will not be permitted.
Art. 23 – AWARDS
The award ceremony will take place at approximately 17:30 at the Palafiori convention center, where only the teams with the greatest number of participants will be awarded.
Art. 24 – DISQUALIFICATION
The following types of behavior will result in the disqualification of the competitor:
- participating with the entry number of another competitor
- throwing rubbish on the road
- not observing the highway code
- not respecting these regulations
Art. 25 – ACCEPTANCE OF THE REGULATIONS
By signing the reservation form (even online) the competitor states that he is in possession of medical certification according to the D.M of 18/02/02, has a valid membership card and third-party insurance, and has accepted the current regulations.
Art. 26 – PRIVACY
By signing the online registration form, the participant gives his consent, in compliance with current legislation, to the processing of his personal data for the purposes of the management of the registration and services connected to it such as the official photography service, the timing, the rankings, as well as the occasional communication of news related to the event, the area where it is being held, and other similar events.
By signing the registration form, even online, the competitor declares that he has read the privacy policy in compliance with current legislation, made available on the website www.milano-sanremo.org and expressing informed consent to the use, by the organizer and its partners, of their personal data for the purposes of compliance with administrative requirements and accounting and organizational requirements relating to management of registration, the formation of the table of the final times and promotional initiatives related to the event.
The competitor also expresses their informed consent to the use of their image for promotional purposes of the event, including publication on websites, social networks, promotional DVDs, etc.
By purchasing the ACSI day membership card the participant gives his consent, in compliance with current legislation, to the processing of his “particular and sensitive” personal data, in particular in relation to the obligation to transmit his competitive sports medical certificate to the organization.
Art. 27 – ETHICAL REQUIREMENTS
By signing and submitting the entry form, the competitor, together with the representative of his team, certifies that there are no penalties, sporting, civil and or criminal proceedings or investigations pending against him/her for offenses relating to doping and states that he/she has not taken – and is not taking – substances on the anti-doping list of the World Anti-doping Agency (WADA). False declarations will be prosecuted according to law. The professionals, the elite (men and women) and those under 23, are allowed exclusively for promotional purposes and depending on invitation from the Organizing Committee.
Art. 28 – AMENDMENTS TO THE REGULATIONS
The organisation reserves the right to apply changes to the regulations. The www.milano-sanremo.org website will be considered the official site of the event. All official communications will be effected via this site.
Art. 29 – RESPONSIBILITY
The Organizing Society decline all responsibility for any accidents or damage that may affect the participants, third parties, occurrences before, during or after the holding of the event, and reserves the right to accept participants at its sole discretion.
SECURITY
Increasingly there are bands of thieves who target cycling races at the international level.
Never leave your vehicle unlocked or unattended, particularly when your bicycle and equipment are on board.
The organization is not liable for any thefts or damage to vehicles and their contents.
Art. 30 – RULES OF THE ROAD
Each participant is considered to be on a personal ride: it is obligatory to observe the rules of the highway code and traffic laws. The road will not be protected.
Art. 31 – JURISDICTION
In the event of litigation the jurisdiction is that of Imperia.
Art. 32 – FORCE MAJEURE
If the race is canceled due to force majeure, such as an alert issued for reasons of adverse weather conditions such as heavy rain, the registration fee will not be refunded.
The regulations translated into other languages are offered as an act of courtesy. In case of any dispute the wording of the regulations in Italian will be valid.
